Hair, just like nails, is composed of keratinized skin cells from head and hands respectively. It is often said that these are dead cells, dead cellular tissue, but ... even if they are not living, the heat weakens the hair proteins.
Experts say that using hair dryers involves direct thermal aggression towards our hair, causing it to become more brittle and increasing the chance of a fall. If, knowing the opinion of experts, you chose to use a dryer, it is advisable to follow a few tips to not suffer alopecia and other problems with your beloved hair.
As specialists in capillary health say, you should at first remove moisture from the hair with a towel to speed drying (less exposure to hot air - lower aggression).
To prevent the hair loss caused by the dryer, it is important that when you use it, keep a minimum distance of 5 cm from the hair root. Try to dry your hair from one side to another, without holding the hair dryer all the time in the same place. This will prevent the so-called bubble hair and unsightly effects.
Do not put the hair dryer too hot! It is important to count on the machine having a good temperature control. And remember, the colder the air that dries your hair, the better.
When you notice that your hair starts to dry, decrease the speed and the temperature of your hair dryer.
With excessive use of the hair dryer your hair gets fluffy, and worst of all, dry and lifeless.
Also, other heated hair appliances such as hot hair straighteners, curling irons and brushes can also have this effect.
If you use thermal tools, be careful; because the burned scalp can permanently damage the hair follicles and thus occur the hair loss.
Also, both the iron and the lacquer are not recommended. Forget to use both of them, since they are great enemies that dry your hair, either by excess heat (iron) or by an excess of alcohol (lacquer).
